if possible, could any1 give me a quick info update about SQO curretn state?

Player count, game direction, worth playing?

I stumbled across it and i got very curious. TY

Worth playing: Yes, if you can avoid the couple stupid people on the game's forums. They yell really loud, but don't represent the majority of the players.

Game direction: what do you mean? It is being redeveloped by aT Games, soon going to be F2P with optional subsrciption-based unlocks later. It's currently at an end-game stage, and will be reset to a blank universe in the next few months.

I've personally been playing it for about 6 years now, and I like it more then any of the similar games. I like to glorify it a bit, but the original developers left the game half-finished with a lot of bugs and half installed systems. hopefully aT wil be fleshing it out, but only time will tell.

Player count saw a spike for a few weeks, but multiple delays to the new patch have seen it drop off again. Let's hope Allough can pull something together by the end of the month.
