.... so today I started on the Rapid Response mission on Tatooine (Trooper Storyline) and got caught of guard by the amount of suicide bomber droids and died.
The mission seems bugged, as when you respawn, the droid wave doesn't restart and thus you cannot continue your storyline.
I thought... with the horrible lack of proper Customer Support that this was it and that I had to shelf my favorite character for long while, till this mission gets fixed.
But I created a ticket anyway, to report the issue.
But here it comes.......... you will not believe this....
Not even 15 minutes later my ? icon in top started blinking! I thought... hmmm that is fast, so I open the support panel and suddenly ended up in the Live Agent Chat window (for those who don't know, this TAB has always been greyed out and non functional until NOW! 0.0 )
Yes people! They finally got their act together and have ingame GM support now!
And the "REAL" kicker?? He was very friendly and was actually able to help me and resetted my story mission!
So I can continue playing my character again! (didn't die again ofcourse... darn droids don't fool me twice lol).
So here you have it! SW:TOR has finally Customer Support in place, with ingame GM support and is now FINALLY able to help players ingame with issues!
I am at a total shock! Need to get another coffee now...... brb.

One person who got lucky once.
I have opened plenty of tickets in the past weeks and was pissed just like everyone else, by the standard robot reponses and auto closing of tickets.
But it seems, right now they finally got their ingame GM support up and running.
Better late than never they say, but still sadly a month too late! They lost a good chunk of disgrunteled players who quite over this. And I don't blame them, when your favorite main char is stuck and you are not able to advance and you are served off by auto responses by Customer Support.
This is probably due in part to the lower server populations as well. Most sites that track server population show that the servers are MUCH less populated now than they were around release.
Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?
I wouldn't start singin their praises just yet though. My guildmates have been getting some pretty ridiculous responses from CS lately.
One guildmate has been having the disconnect/crash issue since 1.1.1. Their response was that he probably had corrupt ram. Pretty lame.

We ran Hammer station with a guildie. For some reason, he couldn't get credit for it. The CSR response was just run it again tomorrow since it is something you can do daily and closed the ticket.
That's not really the response you wanna give
Really? That's a plus then I guess. Would imagine pretty soon maybe they'll start messaging me just to see how my day is going or if I need need help with anything.
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.
3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.
The Vanguard GMs do that. Its great. Glad Bioware is learning from SOE.
XD

Websites that track server population are unreliable at best.
But yes, this could be because of less players.
Or you could have just been one of the lucky few that does get a human respone.
Or maybe, just maybe, BioWare might have actually hired more GM's (The haters could never believe such a thing though.)
Most likely this: happens with just about every MMO, early on (launch week and those few following) tickets come in by the gazillions, after a month or so, things die down, and CS is able to respond in a timely manner; which they can aslo be more hands-on in their apporach as the case load isn't so heavy.
