I know that by it's nature it's a competitive game.  I know that morale tends to drop pretty hard when it seems you are on the losing end of a match.  I know that LoL has a reputation for one of the worst communities in the mmo genre.  Atleast I know that now.  But when players start trolling, calling the rest of his team "noobs" that "don't know what the hell you're doing" before everone has even picked their champion.  Well that's just the last straw.  I no longer feel like there's room for a mature adult in this game.

Judging by the majority of the threads in this section.  I'm likey not saying anything new to the people here.  But it does help to vent.  There is a strong possibility I may write an angry letter to Riot games before I delete this game off my pc.  Ok that's it.  I'm not going to go on and on about this.

For a minute there I thought you were talkiing about an experience in WoW.  Sadly that's the status of today's community in the most "popular" games.  A reflection on the mass populace, basically.  Sad but true.  Hence why I lean toward games with higher learning curves and depth.  Not that I don't like WoW or LoL's gameplay, just can't stand the community in them and that's a major part of MMORPGs.  Community can be a gamebreaker.

I feel for you OP, truly do.

I totally agree with you that the trolls and the community are making this game worse than what it is.

But you don't seem either a good "community member".

 

You complain about rage, troll, and people that are offensive, yet you take the time to say you'll write an "angry letter" to Riot Games. What a complain waste of time and just prove you aren't better than anyone in the end.

 

By the way, they don't care about your angry letter, because you will most likely sound like a kid raging (you know, what you are complaining about).

If you can't tolerate the game anymore, and are too immature to write constructive criticism without acting like a d-bag, well just uninstall the game and stay away from any pvp game.

League of Legends isn't an MMO

Okay Egypt, thanks for adding nothing relevant to the topic.  You can now go derail some other thread.

 

Disrepecting people in COMPUTER GAMES IN GENERAL (if that helps Egypt) is pretty much standard fare these days, pretty sad.

The community of MOBAs is terrible because everyone is the only person who can carry on your team and the only one who should be allowed mid and every team mate is bad. I had a game earlier where a dude forced himself mid randomly after I'd been there as Pebbles for 2 minutes and effectively ruined my lane with fissures and random crap, then shit talked me for the next 5 minutes. The only way to escape it is to get into a higher bracket or play with friends, Solo is a waste of time and always has been.

MOBA are game like Bloodline Champion / Brawl Buster.

 

Game like Dota / LoL are MMOARTS. It's not like an MMORPG, but it's still an MMO.

I never heard of any FPS game with a great community. Well it's the same with MMOARTS.

Well I confess I'd be lying if I said I had never vented my frustrations out on another player in game.  But I also make a point to encourage players when I can.  But when someone goes so negative before the game even starts.  Well I guess the issue with me had just been building up so much untill something like this caused my knee jerk reaction.  I suppose the game in the end was starting to bring out the worse in me.

I know one letter to riot isn't going to make any difference and would really only serve as a way to vent help with closure.  Must like my original post.  But I'm curious my original post really scream out immature D-bag to you?  Or are you just assuming?
