What I really care about is to play with other people. What would be cool to see is groups forming up. In TOR even though there were good ammounts of party boosts, people still would not join up. Heck, even if I was doing same quest as other person, they would not join up. Also, I did not like the TOR's World Arcs. They were TOTALLY boring for me.
I hope Meta Events are more immersive. Anyways, after the recent press beta, did people tend to join up more often? I got really put off by TOR's PVE because nobody really wants to play together. What's the situation like in GW2?

What's this optional? I hope these group events are not way off the world down in some cave.

What are you even going on about nomss? Sounds like you don't even understand the fundamentals of dynamic events and if you were to compare the meta events with anything it would be Rift's zone wide invasions (but with some actual lasting consequences).
I had to look this up, so for others who don't know what a world arc is:
World Arcs: These epic quest arcs range from four to ten quests -sometimes even more- and feature epic storylines, big decisions, hard fights, and may have you playing them multiple times on different playthroughs in order to complete them, due to their length. Like World Quests, World Arcs are meant to be played with a group of players.
So from that, I would say that a dynamic event is to a standard MMO quest, as a meta event is a SWTOR world arc.
It looks like all a world arc is, is a "quest chain" that just happens to contain several quests and tell a cohesive story. And a meta event is an "event chain" that just happens to tell a cohesive story.
But really the similarities end there. Meta events are still dynamic events. They are not just quest chains like world arcs.
Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?
Indeed The 'world arcs' are basically like the GW1 campaigns (well, it can dream to be, it'll still be 'kill 10 rats in space'). They're linear and not really 'happening' like meta events are
I might get banned for this. - Rizel Star.
I'm not afraid to tell trolls what they [need] to hear, even if that means for me to have an forced absence afterwards.
P2P LOGIC = If it's P2P it means longevity, overall better game, and THE BEST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!(Which has been rinsed and repeated about a thousand times)
Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.
LOL
Really? I thought it sounded similar to TOR's World arcs.
Anyways, my main concern is, do PUG occur easily?

*oh, it's nomms fighting a cool boss, i'll join in*
It's as difficult as that.
I think PUGs in GW2 will be more like a bunch of players just randomly walk into an area and start participating in the same content. There is no need to formally group up unless you're going to a dungeon or just want to group up for social aspects.
Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?
Of course it does. Heck, you don't even need to formally group up, in order to participate in any events in GW2.

review what dynamic events do and how combat occurs in the game first and then come back to us. Hint, you don't need to be in a group for player effects to work with other people, you don't need to group up to get experience from kills and events, all you have to do is participate.
