Mods.. you keep deleting a thread without looking at it

    Saw this as well, and it irked me.  No reason to delete it everyone was mature and getting a good laugh.  It was a fun thread.

    I agree open debate and discussion is vital in a democratic society..  Cencorship do not do anyone any good. And Im pro GW2. I still think that people who have issues with the game should have a chans to speak their minds. But You get banhammerd as soon as you dont post something that is not Politicaly correct. And in this case saying something bad a about a hyped game..

    And the thread was even possitive right? That makes the argument that they cencor anything that remotly sounds negative....

     

    But this is not a free society, you come into MMORPG.com privately owned space and agree to abide by their rules, this is not a democracy.

    No this is a marketing tool of the AAA devs. It has been for years. Nothing intelligent, or innovative ever gtes brought to the surface here. It's just how great the next WoW clone is going to be, and how you're the minotiy if you have any sort desire to play somethign different. If you have any brain activity left inside your head you don't belong here.

    Many people have left this site for other forums. There are not many of us left. I always come across the same faces. I would say there are not many of us left on this site that make any contribution to these forums. More and more leave every day. And people you could have good debates with have long since left. Because of the heavy cencorship on this site. This is not a good sign..

    Just a quick question, but would love to know where you go now because i agree

    As these forums are not free I do not dare post were I go becuase they will probably ban me for adverting on this site. Use Google... there are alot of other general MMO forums out there :)

    Just shows what happens when freedom of speach is taken away..

    Maybe we should all find a new place to discuss MMO's, this place is becoming as sensitive as official forums, I understand companies want to keep their own forum clean, but this place used to be all about expressing your opinion, good or bad, now you can't say shit without a delete and a temp ban.

    It takes a minute. The mods wake up and have coffee then they delete mass amounts of posts and issue warnings without reading them. They then go out and punch school children for having opinions. Then they come back and do it all over again.

    The 8.7 they gave of SWTOR speaks volumes.

     

    Really, 1.3 marks of a PERFECT mmo? Hmmmm.....

     

    Mod censorship is heavy handled on this place, I'm not quite sure what the agenda is.  Although I'm very suspicious of the guy with the Man Utd Avatar, damn plastics...

    The thread title was a little misleading, but only for the purpose of the video it contained which whether it was bashing or praising was well done and didn't contain a bunch of cursing.

    I know the mods need to make sure than the truely trollish threads are eliminated but they gotta at least keep a perspective eye on the threads like the one that got deleted.

    Wasn't inflametory, and the video was right in line with the thread title. Forums work to hard to please their advetisers. I wouldn't be surprised that companies would have employees surfing sites like these for pure troll threads and then watch to see how they are modded..

    Wouldn't suprise me at all..

    PM before you report at least or you could just block.

    I think that video is clever, tongue-in-cheek, good-natured fun.

    If you got bent out of shape about it, you have your own problems, whether you ever actually watched it or not. And the thread really should not have been deleted. There are so many things that go on here that are much worse. But, it happened, so making a new thread to whine about it is also silly.
