Well I wanted to post some questions on the Vanguard Forums, logged in just fine, have an account and have played all SOE's games at least once. No option to make a new post,  and when I tried to PM someone I get you don't have permission. So then I log onto the Station website and try to use both Live Chat and Open ticket. Get a form to start with that has drop downs for choose a product, etc. The drop downs do not work.  Is this typical?

I really wanted to reach out to whatever active community may still play there and ask some questions before possibly returning. But if the case with tech support and my being able to post to the forums is a lost cause, then well there's no need to dump any money back into that pit.

The new topic button is down at the bottom left hand corner once you get into the forum you want to make a post in.  Also one at the top left next to the forum name you are in.   I was able to log in and create a new post just now.

Yea I get no new post options, and I am logged in showing upper right hand corner. Just tried to use my other PC to see if there was some sort of weird issues with both the forums and the contact support site and the browser page froze up with an error message. My account must be hosed or something and their tech support website is just crap.

Well I got the KB to work and found you need to have an active game account to post to the specific forums. That's kinda cheesey, I know I can use sites such as this to answer questions but figured on less negativity being the actual game forum. Kind of a game deterrent on SOE's part imo. I even tried to swindle a phone support guy into giving me a free month so I can post to the forums and try out the game. I used the "Come on man the game is totally struggling you need all the possible players you can get!" He giggled and advised the game is starting to do very well all swarmy.  Oh well I tried.
