The Good:

Graphics and sounds are straight out of the TV show. The game looks and sounds great.

Basic gameplay is actually pretty fun. Interesting variety of weapons and loadouts to try, and RCS Slide is just like it was in the show (and lots of fun).

Large fleet engagements are really something to see, and the one area where the game really shines.

The Bad:

There's no content. You get some interesting tutorial missions, but nothing but a few very boring dailies once you get into the game proper. It's PvP or GTFO.

The PvP is mostly horrible. It consists almost entirely of: level 10 gets kille by level 50, level 50 gets killed by level 100. Extremely unbalanced and downright eye-rolling.

War Raiders (you know, the ones from the 1979 show) are the most powerful Cylon Strikes. This makes zero sense as in the new show they are very old and very outdated. War Raider should have been the starting ship for Cylons, not the ultimate Strike. The Mk VII Viper being the most powerful Strike for Colonials actually makes sense.

Worth taking a look?:

Yeah, you might want to stick your head in and check it out, especially if you're a big fan of BSG. But you'll probably leave after experiencing the extreme grind and getting killed by level 100+ players for the umpteenth time (yes, the game rewards high level players for killing n00bs). If you do check it out, make sure to roll on Sagittaron server, as it's just about the most populous, well balanced server around, and most other servers are either dead or very badly balanced.
