Crafting in TSW looks to consist of taking items, disassemble them into their components, refining them and making them items you need from them. Crafting is quite easy to understand and very accessible as there are no skills connected to it. In other words, no grinding to get better at it.

Crafting is meant as a tool to supplement your leveling and it looks like something very useful, not a timesink.
