    Yeah, don't want to be a dick, but this is pretty old news, beaten more or less to death on this forum over the past two years. If you search through the archived EVE forums you will see a few rants about it. 

     

    Edit: The vid was cool enough, and I have a PS3 so I will check it out for sure. =)

    PS 3 only which means fail if you are PC gamer. I might have tried it if it was available on the PC platform but getting a PS 3 for this game? No. PlanetSide 2 will probably blow it out of the water too.

    But as other's have said, old news.

    EVE PLAYERS,  have known about this for a few years,  but when you explain it to non-eve players they didnt really understand.

    Which, to be fair is quite understandable,  its a new concept and people didnt really get it.

    So, now that Dust is nearing release... Console players and gamers in general will start becoming aware of this interesting twist.

    When it his the playstation... how console gamers are going to take this is unknown.  Either they will feel dis-associated with the link to Eve and not really give it much attention,  or they will be curious about Eve and maybe play Eve as well.

    I know a lot of PC Players planning on getting a PS3 to play dust, so presumably the opposite will happen too.

     

    Its all very interesting and Ive not quite decided on how I think this is all going to go down... so either way, this unknown quantity is going to be very exciting :)

     

    It could all be a right balls-up, or it could have a profound effect on both Eve players and Console players.

    er, no they dont.   Only people who play eve know about it really.

    As I said, the closer this comes to becoming a reality the more people will become aware and the most posts like these you will see.
