Origin of the Council:



The council was officially formed March 10th, 2012. That is not the day we met, but that date is when we decided, we would no longer try to find a guild that fit our play style, but create our own.



We are what is left of the once great guild known as Imitatio Dei of Kaisenel server Aion, And the Twin Spears server of Star wars the old republic. As a group, the 5 of us have been around each other for years, working as a team to clear content through out some of the best MMOs and Online games. Our gaming history includes games such as Aion, Rift, SWTOR, All points bulletin, League of legends, Dota and so on and so forth.

 

We are a PvPvE oriented players, as is our guild, but above that we are completion focused guild. We are about being the best at the game we can be, by completing the very last drop of content any particular game we are playing at the time has to offer.

 

We believe PvE is just as important as PvP, as such we raid on a regular basis. The entire council is composed of very seasoned raiders and former raid leaders. With our combined knowledge we have cleared every dungeon and raid instance found in the most recent MMOs of the past 5 years.



We are also seasoned PvPers, with most of us hitting the highest ranks available in past MMOs, such as Rift, WoW, Aion and SWTOR. We believe that great players are well rounded, capable of both PvP and PvE.



We have been gaming together for a long time, but when it came to starting a new game we always found ourselves at the same crossroads, looking for a new guild to join that would fit our play styles, contain like minded individuals, share our goals and focuses, more often then not we found ourselves settling for guilds that didn’t quite fit our play styles, but was as good as we were going to get.



However we kept running into the same problem each time we did this, because we are what could easily be considered hardcore players, the guilds that we settled for were fairly hardcore. However along with being great players, they were also great assholes. Which seems to be the common thread with all hardcore guilds, they seem to believe if you are hardcore you have to treat everyone who isn’t as though they are beneath you.

 

We decided that enough was enough, we are all strong players, great leaders and we believe you can have a strong guild, make a name for yourself within your game of choice and treat your members with respect if they’ve earned it. We decided the time to start our own guild was way past due



and so



The Council was born





Goals of The Council:



The goal of the Council is simple, find a small number of like minded players who share not only the same gaming goals and aspiration, but skill level as players as well.

 

We are looking for highly skilled players or even entire groups of players who understand that pve is just as important as pvp, and also understand the importance of learning the in’s and out’s of not only their current class but all of the other classes they will encounter in whatever our current game is.

 

We are looking for players who are strong enough to ask for advice when they aren’t performing at their best, and confident enough to give advice to their fellow guild members when it seems necessary to do so.

 

The council looks to recruit strong members, players confident in their own abilities and the skills to back it up. But we are more then willing to work with anyone who demonstrates a willingness to learn from their mistakes.



 We are looking for members who are chilled, easy going, and who understand that the enemies are outside the guild. Players who are social, with a sense of humor and no burning desire to cause, stir, or harbor drama with other members of the guild.



 Players who understand that a guild is not only a group of people who will help them achieve their personal aspirations within a game, but a social club. A spot you know for sure you can find online friends to hangout with.
