We are a KTera guild that has been playing since korean open beta and have much skill and knowledge over many others but we need more like minded people and specific class's so with that said we are recruiting the following class's ONLY:
LANCER, WARRIOR, PRIEST, MYSTIC, & SORC
We have opened our invitations again and are actively looking for new battle brothers and sisters to help strengthen our ranks when TERA officially launches in North-America, on May 1st, 2012.
Genesis
Focus is primarily a NA PVP guild. It was formed when a group of us in Aion started considering TERA Online as our next MMO. We settled on the name Focus, because it seemed to convey exactly what we want our main goal to be in TERA: to focus on all encountered challenges and surmount them flawlessly.
If our experience in Aion taught us one thing, it is that we want to surround ourselves with dedicated and loyal players. Though we don't necessarily plan on rushing through the game content, we would prefer to be efficient and not waste time going through low-to-medium-level content.
Our core group of players comprises dedicated and loyal individuals that have left their mark in popular titles such as Cabal, Two Moons, Rising Force, Age of Conan, and more recently Aion. During our 1+ year of playing TERA on the Korean servers, we have amassed a lot of experience and knowledge, which we hope will catapult us and those to whom we impart such experience and knowledge to the forefront very quickly.
We are still playing K-TERA, and we have not stopped learning. As we meet new allies in NA BETA, we'll continue to discover more from the upcoming patch that is scheduled for the end of February 2012 in K-TERA.
While the word focus is often times defined as "selectively concentrating on one aspect of the environment while ignoring other things", we intend to experience as many parts of TERA as possible.
Structure & Rules
The guild rules are simple: no drama, just play!
To further expand on this, we simply want players to keep the drama outside of guild and game. Our main goal is to enjoy the game and each others company, while avoiding any and all kinds of infantile and petty arguments, which only tend to result in unnecessary stress and hurt feelings. To give you a better idea of what kind of crowd we are and help you determine if you'd like to join us:
we try not to take each other too seriously, yet we expect mutual respect
we occasionally use foul language when we become passionate
we aim to experience each aspect of TERA to the fullest
we follow the anything-goes mentality until or unless it starts impeding on the rights of another
we encourage team play, but we expect you to be able to stand on your own when required
we can't stand mediocrity
we understand when it's time to kick back and take it easy
Useful Info
Who's Driving This Ship?
In Focus, titles and labels mean nothing; that is, until we need to step in and fix a problem or get involved with event organization and the like. So, who's driving this ship? This ship is free-sailing for the most part, but when it needs steering, feel free to contact Tez.
Character Progression
It is extremely important that those considering to join us understand this point: you MUST BE ACTIVE and you therefore must demonstrate a standard, preferably fast, leveling progression. You will be expected to grow with the guild, and not to drag it down (by taking days to gain one level, for instance). Higher levels give access to better skills, better gear, better dungeons, and more opportunities to master your character. To be at the top, you must strive for it regularly, and this is one of the golden rules that motivates us in Focus.
Make no mistake, we're not asking you to ignore real life. What we are asking is that when you are online, you get your A-game on and you don't waste time.
Probationary Period
Each new member will be placed on a 2-week probationary period, after which they will be invited to stay and grow with the guild if they have proven themselves to be a competent and dedicated player. Otherwise, they will be asked to leave our ranks; hopefully, with no hard feelings.
Server Type & Time Zone
Focus intends on finding a new home on a North-American PVP server in the EST zone. As we get closer to launch, we will announce which specific server type we selected. We do not have specific play times, but we anticipate the bulk of the action to take place between 6:00PM - 2:00AM EST.
