Diablo 3: Open Beta Stress Test This Weekend

Blizzard has announced that it will be conducting an open beta stress test for Diablo III beginning at 12:00 PDT today (Friday, April 20th) and running through Monday, April 23 at 10:00 PDT.

What steps do I need to take?

• 
  Log in or create a Battle.net account at http://www.battle.net
• 
  Create your BattleTag, which is required to play Diablo III (What is BattleTag?
• 
  Download the game client, install, and play between 12:01 p.m. PDT April 20 and 10:00 a.m. PDT April 23

Get started by following the directions above.

Definitely a bugged installer, you cannot install in any location other than the default it has preprogrammed... lol wth? Also if you double click the location path instead of the button it crashes. Hopefully this is not the caliber of work that the live game will have.

Quite a weekend indeed.  First it was TERA, and now this game.  Wonder if it will hinder interest for either with them both having this big open beta weekend.

Same, my son did too. He had no problems at all so far.

A number of people, me included, operating windows 7 64bit faced problems with the installer and the game launcher. I fixed the issue by running the installer and the launcher / game .exe's with WinXP SP3 compatability and "Run as admin" checked.

But the Login button is not clickable.

Yeah lol. Single player game (with coop ability), but you cannot play, because Blizzard's servers are too busy. LMAO.

Not a great start, but I have prepaid for the game so this is just something to do over the weekend :P

I be poised for this as well. What aboot the timezone? Is it supposed to be up yet?

I am +1 GMT in mainland EU I think and the floodgates open at 12 pm PDT supposedly ... getting errors at log in all the time, might have to do with that.
