Mostly I play classic new games.
As for the answer when it comes to old games, Gold box/Pool of radiance would be a start.
Sim City, Decent, Mortal Kombat, Dont be afraid of the dark, Myst, Betrayal at Krondor, Daggerfall, M59 and on and on
I was never a boy though, not sure if that makes a difference :P
