Which was your favorite starting area?

My favorite was the charr area. I spent most of my time in human until Sunday when i decided to try out all classes and races. I didn't know how easy i had it. The charr area was rough. They had a level 8 flame legion champion shaman in a level 4 area. and an area you had to go through 3 different veteran mobs to get your skill point. These fights were mostly in caves and narrow dungeon hallways , instead of the big forts i was used to in Human area.  I spent a lot of time in the downed state and still had a blast. Died very little though, props to the Charr community on Crystal Desert who ran with my lil necro Zendikar. They were great at battle rezzing.

 

The snowball fight in Norn area was fun also.

I did almost everything on my Human, but after he hit 25ish I took him over to the Norn starting areas. I actually think I liked it more, it had a very different flavor. It was very tribal, lots of rock formations and elevation to climb, and the skill challenges were cooler, I think. The skill challenge with that Raven woman was amazing, the jump challenge to get to her followed by her actual battle was a blast. I wish I got that on video. I think the underwater Quogan world was a bit cooler in Norn area too, very colorful and icy, even though the enemies there (jellyfish and their poisons) were a bitch and a half. I'll take the barracuda over the jellyfish any day.

I think the Charr area is the most lively in terms of events and 'clutter' but I voted Norn... I just love the icy tundra. Snowy areas are always my fav.

I voted Norn, however i didn't try human. My husband and friend both did and didn't have as much fun although the personal story sounded more fleshed out than what I got... but! I will have to say drunk night out with some char was fun but not moving lol
