I think that a most RPG fans would agree that the feeling of a living world has been absent from the MMO genre for a long time and personally, I'm glad that ArenaNet has added this into the game. Sure it's a small thing but it adds so much depth. At least in my opinion.

Yeah the dialog of the NPC's adds to the atmosphere of the game world
Like sitting at a street corner listening to the idle chatter
Im hopeful though.
ArenaNet is know for their "release when it's ready" approach to their games, so I'm sure that the rest of the game will be just as complete.
