Why can't they do that?

Why can't they make the combat the same? First person, left click right click, point at stuff. Positional moves, charge up moves, stealth with the eye thingy. Archery.

Making it abilities with cooldowns on a hotkey bar in third person.

Why can't they have player houses? Like SWG, UO, EQ, EQ2, Vanguard, LOTRO, instanced or not doesn't really matter. I get that your not going to buy a house in every town like Elder Scrolls, but come on.

Why can't you go classless? When you have a diverse pick it up and use it to learn more, pick any skills and combine freely  why would you cleave to genre standards? Making your own class was a fantastic option in The Elder Scrolls.

    1. In the article they said that they didn't want latency ruining the game for some, so, no Elder Scrolls combat (IE: They still think most of their player base doesn't have good internet. Har har har)

    2. I imagine you can go third person like any other MMO out there.

    3. I imagine they will eventually, they will listen to fans after all.

    4. You are mostly classless, they are just putting some limitations. I believe the article (at Uni, don't have it with me) mentioned you can choose what you want mostly, but you just can't choose everything at once (which would be stupid and people know it. Darkfall tried it, it failed, and they've been falling over themselves fixing this). Essentially, it'll be like Morrowind or Oblivion, except you can't level things at all outside your major or minor skills.

Bear in mind, this isn't being made by Bethesda, it's being developed by Zenimax, which is an affiliate of Bethesda, but, and I stres this, not Bethesda.
