Heya folks,
Just wanted to stop by and leave a link of my current project/home in Xsyon. This is 100% player built from the ground up! Those coming back for the free time in May should feel free to stop by and visit Lakeside!
The game's come a long way in the last year and the progress really surprised me. I tried it very limited when it first came out and didn't stick around, but it's definitely changed for the better and new things are being done each month.
Anyway, here's a look at what's possible with the terraforming and architecture system in Xsyon!

Looks nice but like others have said here (and on the very forum thread you linked) it does nothing, serves no purpose and in the end, was just built for buildings sake. So in the end, Xsyon is just a sim game where you get to design houses and villages.
So much potential wasted...
A man is his own easiest dupe, for what he wishes to be true he generally believes to be true...
Yeah I can agree with the above. I do think its a freaking awesome game for the first 2 months you play it. Setting up your camp, the resource system, and crafting is done great. But other than that there isnt much. Would still recommend anyone to buy it though and play for the experience of it if your willing to pay for 2 months of awesomeness.
Looks great. Unfortunately like the previous poster said, there is nothing you can do with it. It can't be destroyed, you can't fight over it, there is no reason to build except for building itself. I loved the game for a few months but in the end the lack of purpose ruined it. Anyways, it is cool looking, nice job.
Really nice work. Looks like it was a lot of hard work and fun to create. Congrats!
I sit on a man's back, choking him and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possible means - except by getting off his back.
