TL2 is very well done - kudos to Runic

I have to say, that 2012 really is the apocalypse, three awesome hack'n'slash games in one year!?!  Happy and amazed that all three turned out great. D3, PoE, and TL2. I don't know where I'm going to find the time and how many mice I'll need to replace.

Anyway, everything feels much improved over the first torchlight. The classes are interesting and fun to play, though I have to say, I'm really loving the berserker in particular (rawr!).

Everything feels right, responsive, animations are entertaining, voice-overs are not too shabby, weapon designs are nicely done, good amount of flexibility in the talent trees, the new UI is very intuitive, and more customization for your character and pet is a welcome addition.

I agree.  I got lucky getting a beta key, and was pleasantly surprised playing this (after a non-memorable experience playing the first Torchlight when that was released).

I also tried Path of Exile today and played it for a few maps, but didn't go back to it.  T2 was a much better initial experience, and much more fun in my opinion.  The "cartoony" grahpics were easier on my eyes for some reason, and the game held my attention more.

I'll second the kudos to Runic for a job well done.
