This Game or That Game

I often hear this debate. Should I get Guild Wars 2 or Tera? The Secret World or Guild Wars 2? Torchlight 2 or Diablo 3? Can I ask a serious question?

Am I the only person who buys multiple games? How many of you don't see this as an issue because you're at least going to buy several of these games?

I am in the same spot, or was in the same spot.

I looked around and after a week of thinking about it i pickd Gw2.

I love 3 faction style stuff and as a DAOC vet it was getting easyer to pick GW2 lol. TERA i think it is better to wait to go down in price, like way down.

Different people are in different situations.

Certain people don't have the time for more than one game at a time or don't want to spend the money.

Sure you can buy two or three mmos, two action rpgs or whatever but there's so much time in the day and most of these games require a time commitment.

 

For me I will pick one action Rpg because I will be playing that one game to get the most out of it. Ill probably beat Diablo 3 300 times before im done. So for me I have to pick one because getting Torchlight 2 or Path of Exile would be a waste of money.

When I was younger I only used to get maybe two games a year and given how many teens play video games it's a valid concern for them as they want to maximize their enjoyment. As for buying multiple games, I tend to buy about 10-25 titles a year, not all on launch date for $60, and tend to cover all major releases and some of the the more smaller games.

Plus there is also the commitment factor, as in I don't buy any other competitive shooters for a few months when call of duty and battlefield have launched...hell I still haven't played much of both since so many other free shooters like Tribes took so much of my time. So when people are comparing between titles it isn't always just about money.
