Europeans can play now!

in Diablo 3

D3 is now released in EU.

If you pre-downloaded the install files, you may experience problems, particularly an "unknown error" while starting the install. This occurs just after accepting the terms.

Solution:

Get the new installer from Blizzard here, English and German version, PC or Mac:

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4008051394 

Run it. Make sure to save to correct folder, else you'll be downloading everything from start. For example, if you prevoiusly downloaded to

   c:downloaddiablo3     (if so, IGNORE subfolders and save HERE)

it would have made a subfolder - full path:

   c:downloadsdiablo3Diablo-III-8370-enGB-Installer

Do NOT save to the that subfolder, or it will make another one and download everyhing.

If you did it CORRECTLY, you will only spend a couple minutes downloading, well unless you have dial-up... ;P

    Sounds of things = eu servers crashed and burned.

    They = people in Europe trying to log in.

    It's working fine, just slight login wait time. They should really have put in a proper queue system though.

    I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

    Yeah, it works fine. Slow on checking login info, though.
