Originally posted in the Pub, this naval MMORPG is in Open Beta and you can download and beta test it now.
Official Website: Daikoukai Jidai Online
This game has very nice graphics and is based on the game Uncharted Waters (Daikoukai Jidai by Koei). If you have been waiting to check out Pirates of the Burning Sea then you should definitely try this one out. It will be a little difficult to advance skills or complete missions if you don't understand Japanese, but you can still level up through combat and trade. It is setup with three different classes, Pirate, Merchant, or Navigator, and you get missions based on these. Skills level up based on use and there is also a branching skill set (like Diablo, WoW's Talents) for the three classes.

RISING DRAGOON ~AION US ONLINE LEGION for Elyos
If Napoleon would have win, there would be no troubles today!
Seriously, if a game is not in English or Spanish, it will always remain to a small audience. Spanish folks are poors, so english would still be a better guess for now. Even the French understand that!
But everything would be simpler if everyone admit French is the most complete language and just learn it right now!
English is rated as the easiest language to learn after Klingon, it is also the bastard son of an old Germanic and old French. Japanese is rated as the hardest language to learn, period. Even Chinese is easier(or so they said, not like I can verify this).
- "If I understand you well, you are telling me until next time. " - Ren
i would think chinese would be much more difficult... atleast japanese uses the same types of speach... chinese is completely diffrent...
but the thing is... is its completely cheaper and easier to make a game in your native language first and than just hire a translator to translate the game...
I believe that popup could have been the display to show dwloading and installation of files. If you can just default everything if possible.
It could also be the update program that checks your version of game and updates if necessary, than you can log in.
If anyone wants to checkout the game quick, you can try the benchmark program, available via this link.

In Windows I believe you need to go to Control Panel. Then look for Regional and Language Options. Open that up and you can add different languages to support there.
I't looks really good, but i don't want to try a game that i can't understand anything in it or the 'actual' game in english?
All my endings are waiting to begin.
it's hard to learn another language...

Hello chocoboba i was wondering if you could give me a hand with that sign up thingy. i did all the fields right but when i hit continue on the third page it says that something with my name or password isn't ok.And i tried 100 names and passes still doesn't work. What did you used for name and pass and how did you typed it(what language).Pls help the newbie who bows before ya mighty knowledge.
This truly makes me sad. I am a huge fan of uncharted waters from the SNES and its sequels through Sega systems. I still play them off an emulator I have.
I hope this game goes to english soon, Koei makes outstanding games, and there is a small loyal market for them.
Give us an english version PLEASE!!!!!
I was shocked to see months ago that the fate of the english version of this game was being decided by the success or failure of Nobunaga Online! Now Uncharted Waters 2 has been my fav game since it first came out and i still play it as well. I read that Koei was releasing Nobunaga to the US at some point but im not sure if thats still the plan. Anyways I WANT UNCHARTED WATERS ONLINE!!!
