I enjoy the game, as part of a rotation of MMO's I play,  each to their own,

I have  read these forums for years seldom posting but I am concerned by the growing hatred levels over the years.

I do wonder how many posts would actually be made to forums if the posters real identity was listed against the post.

I will never, ever buy another MMORPG until a year has passed and I read reviews on it. This way they won't even make money on the initial release. If you deny these hack companies their initial release money "bonanza", maybe they'll decide to make good games.

I agree with both here. On one hand you do want to hold the larger developers to a higher standard. On the other hand it is up to the opinions of everyone who gives it a try, not one person.

BUT Im leaning toward Mephster on this one, ONLY in the case of swtor. I was most excited to play swtor over gw2 before swtor came out. I of course was expecting swg with a well integrated storyline and revamped graphics. I was holding the developer to a much higher standard in this case as I recieved a msorpg instead of an mmorpg. This game recieved good reviews in beta and was supported by many online gamers, having seen this i decided to buy, so in effect a bunch of uninspired mmo sheep did hurt me, right in the wallet. This game honestly shouldn't be on this website. Ive decided to cast my subscription dollar vote in gw2's direction.

SWTOR is a very good mmo and has a lot to offer. I am going to play GW2 as well, but I think SWTOR offers more long-term as Bioware will be patching in a lot of new content this year.

And, yes it is Star Wars everyone and that clinches it for me over gernic high fantasy mmos.
