Play the game while in your web browser.  It works exactly how it sounds...

Lets see there's web browser games.   Which are glorified forums in server architecture.

There's browser games like runescape.  Which use the java plugin,  Essentialy the tools for the graphical interface is already installed.  Then from there you just have a normal server/client interaction.

There are a few other games that rely on Canvas elements but far from popular currently.

Then newer graphical browser game rely on using Java to initially download and run other programs.  After that point it switches out to other languages like C++/C# or whatever the language the developers favored.   Ofcourse from there just normal server/client design.

Practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent.

They use browser plugins like flash, java or silverlight, and sometimes even install an own plugin, like quake live.

Maybe soon we will see a dynamic browsergame with 3d graphics just based on javascript. You can see the javascript 3d renderer here: http://www.eveonline.com/universe/spaceships/
