Anyone know which servers will be UK, because my server were proclaimed to be German?
GW2 Guru has a list that gives a fairly good indication of where everyone is going, might be a tad out of date with the addition of new servers, but would imagine it'll either get updated, or at least act as a guideline on the "old" servers based on previous beta.
I like reading all these server names. It always brings up fond memories of years spent in GW1, especially those Prophesies locations like Sanctum Cay, Nolani Academy and Quarrel Falls. Makes me want to jump back into the game again just to go sightseeing.

Almost all servers were full (if not all) during the last Beta event.
There was a bug that made US servers appear as empty on those with EU home servers and EU servers appeared empty on those on US servers. I tried playing on both EU and US servers and all servers were full.
I saw all the US servers high or full but the EU servers were displayed as low all the time, maybe you are right and was a bug or something..

Bug propably or you watched them during Europe night-time.

There was indeed a bug.... If you've tried chaning your home world you would've seen it
I think even 96 servers won't be enough for GW2
Block the trolls, don't answer them, so we can remove the garbage from these forums

yes, was a bug. i was on Underworld EU server that was high than i saw all US servers with low population and than i move from EU to US server.
after they transfer me to US server, all was high and all EU servers were low xD
Kind of against them opening so many. Seems like every hot new title does this and then three months in half of them are low population. Granted you can server hop here which will insure you can stay with a crowd but then you have a bunch of servers with no one on them at all. Idk, if they need them they need them, just seems like too much.

I had the opposite experience so yes, it is probably a bug.

Well, seeing how the guys in charge of Anet are the ones who designed WoW, I think they have a good grasp on what people like. I have a feeling Guild Wars 2 will grow pretty significantly as time goes on. And I sincerely doubt Lord Bachus was joking.

Aren't those gems cash shop, real money items? If so why would anyone pay for a server transfer during beta events?
Anet gives you 2000 free gems during each BWE and not stress test
I read on Twitter that they were only giving 500 gems. I think it was on Twitter.. anyone else see this?
I saw it was 500, but I know it has been changed to 2000 - as sammyeli states.

All servers were full/high during bWE and stress test. They wouldn't add that many new servers if that wasn't the case.

Seriously guys, GW2 will walk the walk of WoW, there are just to many good things inthere to hvae more people leave then there will be new players, for the next 2 years atleast, the GW2 community will keep growing.

it used to be 2000, then it was 500.. they changed it back?
