Is the game a little slow?

Or am I looking back with rose colored glasses?

 

I remember in D2 the pace at which things happened was almost frantic, characters sprinted from place to place, attacks were rapid, enemies swarmed...  Now I feel like everything is happening in slow motion, so much that it does not even fully keep my attention while I am playing.

 

I feel like I would enjoy the game a lot more if the whole thing were sped up about 25%.

 

I still think it is a good game, and a worthwhile purchase, but it really does not come close to filling D2's shoes.  I am sad to say I haven't even been bothering to log in.
