Wings of the Goddess

So I seen Vindictus posted that you can buy the Wings of the Goddess for only a few days and that the item is SUPER RARE. I looked at the prices and just laughed.

For people who don't want to click it, its basically this:

During the Angels Promotion Event

  • Spend at least $200.00(200,000 NX) receive the Black Wings for FREE.
  • Spend at least $100.00(100,000 NX) receive the Snow White Wings for FREE.
  • Promotion Period: 7/6/12 - 7/20/12
So yeah. If you want some nice wings to show off, it only costs a couple hundred dollars. I wonder if Nexon NA is dying this badly for money?

    Well, considering the game probably doesn't make any money from a majority of it's players since you can play for free just fine, I'm not surprised. The money they do make off the game most likely comes from a small minority, and are probably aiming to get those players to spend a bit more to get rewarded.

    It doesn't look as an act of desperation, either. Quite the opposite, really. Vindictus brought in 300 mil (USD) the past year in NA alone, according to there 2011 financial desk.

    anyone dumb enough to spend 200 bucks on pixels deserves to be ripped off . The reason most people do not pay a dime for games like this is because they are crap to begin with like 99% of the free to plays coming out of asia. Why in the heck someone feels the need to keep feeding these crappy games so much money is beyond me but hey to each their own. I guess Im just a middle class guy that wouldnt think twice about taking my family out for the day and spending 200 bucks to spending 200 bucks on some crappy item.
