Insomnia.

Nightly, I average from 2 to 4 hours of a sleep a night. I go to college full-time, and work part-time. I function fine on this miniscule amount of rest. Does anyone else fall in the same category as me?

I get 4 hours on a GOOD night, average for me is 2-3. sometimes I just skip sleep altogether.

    I don't think I'm an insomniac...

So you have no repprecussions? You dont feel tired or anything? Do you suffer from depression? I do but I sleep TOO much. (I average on some 10-12 hours a day.) Aywyas, if you feel good, then i envy you. I HATE sleeping, its boring and I see it as a waste of time.

I average 2-4 hours of sleep a Week....if I am lucky. I'd LOVE to get 2-4 hours a Night....that would be heaven to me.....Give me your sleep!! LOL. I have done this little schedule of mine since I was 12 years old(I hit puberty then -.-),that was like about 15 years ago....so I'd die to have a sleep pattern like yours. Don't even mention Sleeping Pills or the like....anything that supposedly makes someone sleepy, makes me hyper as all get out....I'm literally bouncing off walls afterwards....for days. I have gotten used to my little schedule of maybe 2-4 hours a week,I function pretty well on it now....but I'd prefer a better sleep pattern myself -.-. (I don't have college to contend with....now. But still -.-.)

on a week day i usually get to sleep around 12:00am and wake up at 6:00am. easy math. for a long time i couldn't figure out what was keeping me from sleeping (since i found out i was getting somewhere around 5 hours of sleep a day on week days with school) and then i found out that 1. the cold weather was and the fact i have like one blanket and it's barely long enough to keep my feet covered  and 2. sometimes my bg acts up and i have to get up to eat something to raise it back up (forced midnight snack - yeah i know it sux). ;)

so what i did was 1. put on socks 2. put on a sweatshirt 3. make sure my bg was around 140 before i went to sleep each night. works for me.

PS. by the way, the above times were given for actual sleep. I'd usually go to bed around 10:30-11:30 and even then some nights i had to wait until like 1:30 before I actually got to sleep (two hours of laying in bed trying to get to sleep). gets on your nerves, but that seldomly happens. if that's the case it usually is a problem with my bg.

I get usually 10 hours of sleep on weekdays. On weekends I usually get 7 or so because I have too much to do on weekends.

I'd like to be able to sleep only 2-4 hours a day because i'd have so much more time, but I get tired quickly.

just drink some about an hour or 2 before you try to sleep, i bet that'll do the trick. I usually go to sleep like at 12 and wake up at 8. lately i been going to sleep at 2am and waking up like at 2pm (today i went to sleep at midnight and woke up at almost 3pm).
It is important to get your sleep, because that is when the body fixes itself, that is why when people dont sleep, they get bad achne and some can get cancer and stuff.

    Sleeping is good for you.

People who sleep less (or don't at all) are more likely to get diseases, are shorter in height, don't grow correctly.

People who sleep alot aren't as likely to get diseases, are taller (for some people), and ... well... sleep is good ::::19::

My siblings are all at least 6 feet 2 inches tall, and they sleep a TON (like at least 12 hours on weekends), and none of them has any diseases of any kind at all.

    I sleep alot too... ::::19::

Look at Murt, he's pretty short.

Damn, I couldnt live on 2-4 hours of sleep. What do you do during the night? Anyway, on weekends, I like going to go to bed late 2am and then get up around 11 or 12 lol.

    Not true.

I'm 6'1" tall. The only health problems I have are genetic or I had before I became an insomniac. I am also pretty much well grown....being 6'1" in height,40DD,butt length hair, etc. So there goes your theory.

No thanks. I am fine with my height and I'd rather be smaller in the chest area then I am now, thank you very much. But either way....My Insomnia really didn't affect me much....I am still pretty tall, still pretty big in the chest and still pretty healthy,so I am fine with that. As long as I can function well, then all is fine,I guess. I am very smart,so it hasn't hurt my mind any.

I have only known one person personally who suffered from insomia. She was one of those wierdos who wore pentagram necklaces and drew pentagrams on her wrists and whore all black while having dyed black hair cut very short. Enough said on my opinions of insomiacs.

I'm 5'8. I think I'm well set off. I'm not short. Hell, my mom is 4'11 and my dad 5'8, so looking at my situation I'm pretty well set off...not short!

Yeah because all of us Insomniacs do that....it is fun!![sarcasm] *rolls eyes*

I don't dress like that or act like that and I'm an Insomniac. So maybe you shouldn't judge others by one person.
