    The technology exists today to guarantee 98% of all MMO players a uniformly mediocre yet net positive* experience.

    Previous iterations meant that 50% of MMO players had a f**cking awesome experience and the other half didn't see the point.

    * Defined as continuing to subscribe to the game.

     

    There is NO miracle patch.

    95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch.

    Hope is not a stategy.

    I get two things from this thread...

     

    1: The world seems to revolve around The US of A

    2: American's will never ever understand The Beautiful Game ie Football to give it its proper name.

    Crash course in the "beautiful game":

    Get a bunch of twenty something sexist bigoted thugs and pay them $20,000 or more per week.

    Teach them how to fake injuries, spit, and generally lie really well.

    Give them contracts and agents like the good little wageslaves they are so they can be bought and sold like cattle. 

    Sit back and watch managers and owners increase the ticket prices, change the kit 3 times ayear, organise risky takeovers that plunge clubs into debt and generally make LOADS A'MONEY.

    See? That's all you need to know about the "beautiful game".

    American Football - named cause the ball is a Foot long 

    European Football - named cause its played with the Feet/Foot.

    As they always say "to each to their own".

    For me Cricket is the beautiful game ! Gentlemans Sport ! - And Cricket is a sport not something you see running around in your garden.

    I think its the gingers. Their lack of soul has created a void in mmos which sucks in all your light and happiness until only angry forum comments are left to you. Damn them, damn them all.
