I bought the game and played some beta, but sofar I see nothing special with this game, ok, it looks good runs good but mostly boring quests and everythin you do is more or less same as you did the quest before. Ok I have only played till level 25 but why do they not make it fun? it is just plain boring.

because some cheap mofos don't like paying monthly for games.
not everyone has the same tastes. I love the combat, the quests, the classes, the stories, the pvp, the atmosphere. You may not.. oh yea and the many wonderfull little touches in the game like the one in my sig
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. Then don't play it.

Another one who confuses renown hearts with actual events -_-
Why oh why did you put the hearts in Anet???

Would you mind elaborating a little more?
What did you play? Where did you go? Did you try WvW at all?
Little more definition on why you feel it's so boring would be great please.

what is a "cheap mofo" ?
Of which race and class did you play? Also, which zones did you explore?
Did you ever enter the Mists for some Wx3 siege gameplay?
sPvP?
I'd like to know specifically what exactly you lable as boring and what you think is not fun?
So does that mean you won't be playing it?
For me GW2 is awesome because:
1) No sub fee
2) Dynamic events-never again will I play a quest hub MMO
3) Scales you down in areas you outlevel to make all content relevant, for yourself or when grouping with lower level friends
4) WvWvW-large scale pvp option
5) Small scale, quick pvp
6) Weapon Skill system
7) Action combat
8) PVE explorer's dream come true-lots of hidden goodies
A different combat system and no trinity, the end.
I have a feeling that u have only done heart quests 1-25 -_-
I personally think it's a bunch of fun. Great PvE. Exploring is more fun than most games I've played. Love WvWvW. And I actually like the Guild Wars lore.
It's too bad you didn't like it, but I'm sure there's a game out there for you somewhere.
You want me to pay to play a game I already paid for???
Be afraid.....The dragons are HERE!
The sheer amount of fun I had playing it was worth pre-purchasing to me.
You can talk features, polish, pvp, pve, all you want, but when I want to play a game it's because it's fun.
I am confused because 2 days ago the OP told another older gamer that he should choose a different game like him when asked about needing reflexes to play GW2.

Sounds like you should do same as I'm considdering, choose a game where you need to be skilled in your head, and not hyperactively pushing 5 different buttoms on the keyboard and rotating the mouse. Might get very boring fast for midle aged people like us:-)"
Because there is critcism, constructive critcism and, simply put, speaking out of your ass aka trolling. Guess which category the OP fits in.
That aside I wouldn't use word "amazing" towards a game, played too many of them in my life to really be amazed by anything the developers can come up with. It is, however enjoyable, solid and good at what it wants to do and that's, suprprisngly, a rare thing in MMOs and games in general lately.
They had too, for the people who wanted a sense of 'direction' otherwise it may throw many players off having D.Es only.
All the threads bashing GW2 are serious business!
All the threads praising GW2 are rabid fanboys!
Currently playing: GW2
Going cardboard starter kit: Ticket to ride, Pandemic, Carcassonne, Dominion, 7 Wonders
In fact all these amazing adjectives seem to come from haters and trolls.
Guess the objective is trying to make it seem like a faillure by raising thr bar too much.
The approach to questing and grouping is very very good.
One thing that is amazing is the art and the towns size.

I for one love the PvP in this game but, the funny thing is that there is some truth to what you say. This was made apparent from that other thread that talked about having extra DLCs added to the game. Some of the people outright said that they will not play the game if there was DLCs in it and didn't even care if they game for fun or not :P. It's sad that some people only care about their wallets, when ArenaNet spent a lot of time developing this great game.

Where are you op? People have asked you questions for your reasoning.
Simple....its the little things, the attention to detail, and the attitude of the developers and what kind of MMO they set out to create.
It's a "Get Up and Go" type of game which has casual friendly features while still having major systems in place for the people who play 24/7. With no sub means more people jumping over to buy the box as they see no real commitment as a lot of people see with monthly subs (yes I know it's only $15).
"cheap mofo"- An articulate gamer who has become enlightened to the fact that a monthly subscription fee has been a manner of being fleeced for about $180 per year to play a second grade game .
why do you care?
