I checked out a video and it seems to have a chickens in an enclosed area at the very start, but the OP stated that it was not the correct game.

Wow just saw that post saying it wasn't it...Well there is nothing else I know of close to runescape. Maybe Dransik/Ashen Empires or Tibia. There are a few other 2.5D games but they don't play the same.
