From the info so far I'm leaning toward Planetside 2, C9, Aion and RaderZ. Although I still do not have sufficient info on some of their F2P design. And sorry, I don't see TSW abandoning the monthly sub this year
They already did. It's called lifetime subscription and it costs $200 making the game effectively B2P, which is the same as GW2 except GW2 is substantially cheaper.
So once again, bad poll is bad.
Yes, players will have a decision to make on what kind of "F2P" MMORPG they will commit themself to. The one that costs initialy $200, the one that costs $50-60 like GW2 or wait for 1-2 years until it drops to $10-20 (like Guild Wars 1) or play initially free MMORPG to a certain level cap and pay for content or play a totally F2P MMORPG with purely P2W cash shop design.
These are the choices that it all comes down to for the community in a "F2P" MMORPG. Players are also welcome to add WOW as their "other choice" since it could also be considered F2P if their ultimate goal and intention is to forever play in the level 14-19 PvP battleground bracket.
So as you can see F2P design plays a big roll in the success of a MMORPG. There are tons of MMORPG's out there that require monthly sub without B2P or lifetime option and without endless trials that do not belong here.
If you want to vote for TSW for F2P you are freely welcome to under Other and mention it as you did. It sure qualifies as one since it offers lifetime B2P option. I certanly mentioned that I cannot add every possible F2P mmorpg in this poll, and for these reasons I ensured there is an option for that as well.
I'm also again adding GW2 in my list as it seems that spending some $ will eventually happen. At least it's good to see that F2P MMORPG's give us a bigger choice how or when we going to spend our $, compared to a P2P MMORPG with a monthly fee.
The fact I would spend some $ also ensures the game will have some funding for future development. Pay to Win MMORPG's are still my preferable choice just cuz I will have a direct access to what exacly I will spend my $, on what kind of items, etc.
The majority of the playerbase would probably be in the same boots and only a small fraction of the playerbase would be overspending and gaining significant advantage, which again probably won't effect everyone.
I'm also again adding GW2 in my list as it seems like spending some $ is a must and all these MMORPGs it's good that at least they give you a bigger choice how or when you going to do it, compared to a P2P only MMORPG.
GW2 cash shop is no more a "must" than buying a shiny pony in WOWs cash shop

Or you could have used only F2P mmo's in your poll, rather than pretending that B2P equals F2P, thus avoiding people thinking that you're just trying to troll by putting games you dislike into a genre that is completely different from the pricing model that it uses.
Unless of course, you do not have the understanding of what Free to Play actually means, or what Buy to Play actually means. Just because I'm feeling gracious today (I am a strong believer in helping out the disadvantaged) I will explain it to you.
Free to play, or F2P means that it doesn't cost anything to play the game to it's entirety. There is no cost to purchase the game and install it, and there is no subscription.
Buy to play, or B2P, means that there is a cost to purchase the game, but you do not have to pay a subscription for continued access to play the game to it's entirety.
World of Warcraft does make a claim to be F2P with a disclaimer for only going to level 20, so if you chose to include that in your poll I would understand.
I hope that helps you make more intelligently appropriate polls for this kind of thing.
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.

This, you cannot add GW2 to a f2p poll. GW2 is not f2p and the cash shop at this time does not require you to purchase to stay competitive. To my knowlege there is no F2P game out there that forces you to pay for it. I suggest either re-doing the poll or changing it so it includes all p2p games.

My post is as intelligent as it can get. We are talkin here about the best possible F2P MMORPG of 2012. Face it, any F2P MMORPG that can't keep the player for longer than 1-2 months after consuming its free content won't have bright future ahead and that itself already proves that its not the best F2P MMORPG choice, period.
MMORPG's need some funding for further development in content, improvement, bug fixes, support as well as running the servers for longer than a year.
Two games that haven't released yet, GW2 and PS2, and one that hasn't gone FTP yet, SWTOR.
Bad poll.
In case you didn't read the thread title, we are talking about the best possible F2P MMORPG choice of 2012, not so far. SWTOR going F2P in fall 2012, 100% in case you didn't read the news.
Kyleran: "Now there's the real trick, learning to accept and enjoy a game for what

LacedOpium: "So the question that begs to be asked is, if you are not interested in
the game mechanics that define the MMORPG genre, then why are you
playing an MMORPG?"
Yes as I stated in my thread I was aware of it. But it does have some MMORPG elements to it. It certanly wouldn't be in the MMORPG.com hype meter if it was a complete different genre.
A lot of MMORPG players are paying close attention to it and there is a good reason why.
Or you could have used only F2P mmo's in your poll, rather than pretending that B2P equals F2P, thus avoiding people thinking that you're just trying to troll by putting games you dislike into a genre that is completely different from the pricing model that it uses.

I would vote for Fallen Earth as well.

I'm glad to see that Fallen Earth is gaining some momentum here. It seems to be doing fine and in good shape?

You should have changed it to no sub games and save us all this discussion about f2p vs b2p.
Looks like the poll didn't turn into what the OP wanted it to turn into once again...

tell that to the double dippers that have Subs and cash shops
why does WOW need a cash shop ?

So we can play AAA MMORPG like Titan one day.
PS2 isn't even an MMORPG its an MMOFPS.
They sure do, with 2 expansions announced that are coming after MOP. That just shows the healthy, bright future in front of WOW.
Wow, must feel great getting some of that cash they're making huh? oh wait...
In Lord of the Rings Online, you do not simply walk into Mordor..........without a sub.
