Free to play game like Mortal or Darkfall
There, the title says most of it really. I have been away from the scene for several years. I heard great things about these games, in that they were very innovative. Simply put, I want a proper fantasy world. Although I heard bad things about ganking, these games seemed to at least try something new. Is there anything out there that you can suggest. I dont care if I die and lose loot. Fed up being spoon fed by all the big titles. Trials or f2p so I can check them out. Prefer fantasy genre else I would go to EVE. Thanks in advance.

Mortal Online has a trial.
Other than that you will probably never see a sandbox FFA full loot PvP game go F2P...it simply makes exploiting/botting/cheating too easy in those types of games. It would basically ruine it.
