    Have you seen the average maturity of the mmo community?

     

    Be happy they get to see one at all, even if it's just online..

    No, but some are and they are a large enough group for the companies to add some stuff for them. They usually add stuff for casual players, raiders, soloers and PvP fans as well.

    But if a few more nerdy perverts extra buy the game compared to how many zealous fanatics got turn off by it they will add some half naked young attractive people. Most publishers will easily sell their soul for a few extra copies sold.

    I think you will find the same is true for most James bond movie posters, and Billboards advertising beer. 

    Still; I would rather have a half naked woman, than Gandalf in a speedo :)

    Fantasy MMOs aren't unique in this aspect.

    Final Fantasy XI & XIV would like to have a word with you! ( I'd Say wow to). Those are the 3 games i know that was less about skin and more about the Gear without looking slutty!

    They could always go back to pictures of Dragons, Elves, and Unicorns. Naked Lady is not necessary to sell fantasy MMO. Not a big fan for the "We Got Bewbs" mentality.

    And, MMORPG logic:

     

    No clothes (female): Tunic that covers everthing

    High Level gear (female): Metal pieces of thing string that barely hide anything.

     

    I mean WTF!
