So, like lots of folks i jumped into Vaguard today. I must say i peeked into my old character last week during the soft launch but didnt really do much. Today i chose to start from scratch to give the game a proper whirl!

 

I must say im enjoying myself, game looks pretty dcent, very happy with the world design, creature and charcter models and armour. Once tweaked in settings the game looks very good. Sound is also decent, combat is what i would expect as is the animations.

 

Overall game looks like its got legs, would be awesome for the ftp version to take off and new content be granted for the game!

 

Certainly recommend this to mmo vets! I must confess my initial impression was mehh, however im old enough and long enough in the tooth to get behind cover. Once i started a fresh and dabbled with settings it was like i had finished a canvas, i was very happy i gave the game another shot. Looking foward to finding more out about the game.
