Smite patcher not working.

in SMITE

My smite starts up and then says 

"smite is waiting for server - 1.46gb remaining" 

 

It will not connect to the server, not behind a firewall and tried running as admin. What do I do? Got a beta key and would like to play, went to the forums and for some reason my account doesnt work on the forums, so I'm asking here.

 

help me out plox
