The difference between cloth and light armor

I was under the impression that GW2 had 3 types of armors, light medium and heavy. My HoM armor are in those 3 types.

But my thief cant use the light armors, neither in HoM or the one I been crafting. And Wiki seems to be down.

So anyone who have any idea about the differences?

Thiefs, rangers and engineers use medium.

Eles, mesmers and necros use light.

Warriors and guardians use heavy.

Ah, ok. My misstake, I thought thieves were wearing light.
