So here it is the launch day with it's new ( old ? ) issues.

Three of my friends created their accounts today. Every time they try to create a character on the last step ( the 10th ) when they should get connected to the game they get error messages. I wrote error msgs as most of the time they are different every time.

The official forums are down as well, so I suppose the amount of bitching were overwhelming and Arenanet took them down "for maintenance".

The forums were never "open for use" even prior to the 3day head start. Be patient, they have been fixing issues very quickly.

I have been reading that the EU servers are having issues today. I know they are excited and want to play, but they will need to be patient! Watch a good movie!

Error 42 is the new error 37.

I was unable to log in for about three hours earlier today. It seems to be a software error since once you get in it is fine.

Log in or create a new character ? My friends can log in every time, they just can't create a character on any international EU server.

Login issues.

I think it only affected the EU servers today though. Maybe the US ones will suffer the same fate when they come home from work.

We have no problems with loging in but every time we try to create a new char we get error 42. Even me who can play with my other 3 characters ( created before the whole madness today started ). It's obvious their servers can't handle the number of requests. Someone fails at load managment.
