Looks like they've been juggling the idea of nurfing and it looks like they are.
Uhm... where do you see a nerf in dps? Or any nerf at all... is it that Sandfury Guardians are no longer tameable? Because all the other changes are just fixes.

The idea is up in the air, but after looking at the forums, its not looking good...still cant find anything exactly saying they are.
Actually they nerfed hunters in several subtle ways:
1. Pet resistance have been tweaked so that is no longer possible to get a pet with very high inherents resists.
2. The speed increase from ammo pouches has been cut in half (it was previously twice the listed values), which is an overall decrease of about 10% to hunter DPS. While this is arguably a bug fix, several have argued that current gun/ bow damage has been balanced around this bug and that hunter DPS will be lower than it should be after the patch.
OK, that's only two, but they are nerfs

What a Joke the logon says goto forums for mor info and guess what. Down. Guess other mmo dont need to spend cash on marketing to bash wow. They do it to them selfs hehe

Bashing isn't much use if you can't dethrone them. Look at Nintendo and Sony. Nintendo use to be the king. Sony has stomped into a being nothing more then a 3rd place console maker. Alot of Sony folk use to bash the hell out of N64. Now Xbox owners get to do it to. Goes to show how easily it is to go from being on top to the bottom. While WoW isnt perfect. I'd honestly be surprised to see any MMO dethrone it. Most would agree that it was expected that EQ2 would be the top dog for MMO's.

Actually, I sort of worry that such bad infrastructure may become par for the course. If Blizzard can do it and have a run away smash hit, adored by the masses, why would any other company bother to spend much time working out the kinks in their network and patch dsitribution system? If we don't vote with our feet (and it looks like the game is only growing) this may become the norm in mass market MMORPGs, much the same way that arcane cell phone billing plans (which I think we can all agree utterly bite) are currently the norm.
I don't want to write this, and you don't want to read it. But now it's too late for both of us.
I have differ on the standing of who is on top of the console game. To me xbox and ps2 share 1 and nintendo is behind. When sony and xbox released there cd console game and games about 44 bucks. Nintendo decided to stay with the cartridge based game. With cartridge you have hardware built into it and the games cost little more some up to 75 bucks. Staying behind on the hardware effected the market with nintendo. That almost put nintendo in bankruptcy. I work for a bankruptcy and class action world wide company. There name did come up for future canditate for client. That is just i read couple years ago.
I hear that blizzard is not using the top of the line in hardware that effects the game. Word of mouth is still the best marketing there is. Yes wow is going to very hard to knock off the top. It is to me the best mmpg out there. People do expect certain things when paying for there service. With more and more mmpg getting released. Not going to take long for one to figure out what blizzard did wrong and what blizzard did right. Fix what blizzard did wrong and challenge the monster. People will get tired of a bad thing and move on. For me I wait for the fixes to be in place. Me and wife will wait about 6 months to see if we stay. I do have to hand it to blizzard on the release. The had a monster sleeping and never thought it would be so large. They do have there work cut for them. They are doing a good job on getting it done so far. People rather hear a bad thing then just get ignored and still pay monthly fee makes it more for the company to answer to the client base.

Ok... ive been without an internet connection at home for... two days now..
Too top that off.. I got WOW last week and played a total of two days then downtime. Great....
I decided to try this out because EVE was nerfing items enough to tick off half the player base and changing things instead of stablizing content. When will MMOS learn that player base loves stablitity, and beta testing should be done prior to realease, not when players are ingame.
Tweaking roles and race stats are ok if they are broken, but not afterwords to just mix it up when alot of other work needs to be done. Such as fixing the stablility issues.. It wont matter if you have the largestest player base for a month if they get made enough to leave. Time is money.. Dont waste mine or anyone elses.
This applies to all generes.

what he said. Scare other hunters? what a joke. we all know we suck at everything but MC where its all ranged. hunters are the least looked upon class by blizzard (no matter how much they tell us they love us). and dont argue warriors get disregarded too, they at least get groups all the time. hunters add nothing but dps, which is now droping by about 16% attack speed.

Servers have been alot better recently, at least for me and my server, Arthas. gj blizzard
