Your unlikely to be able to get a refund. Where did you buy the game from and have you entered your Cd key?

The answer is in this question.... If you walk into Dennys and order a dinner and eat the entire meal but was dissatisified with it do you get a refund?  You paid $60 for a service that you used [mod edit].

Am i reading this right, you bought GW2, you like the product you purchased but now you find you need the $60 for something else and want A-Net to loan you this $60 back for a bit?

Seriously? Wow, maybe i'll ask the tax office for a refund on this months income tax because i need it to paint my fenceimage

Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy :)

In the event A-Net entertains the notion, there will be no way you would keep your account.  If the refund processes, they would delete the account.

As for the support site, it is the only way to contact them unless they finally got a 800 now.

Actually most restaurants will give you a refund if you are not satisfied with your meal.  Most labor services like plumbers and electricians won't although they might try and work with you if they value their reputations.  The Entertainment industry pretty much universally doesn't do refunds.  I guess they figure once you use the item you have gotten your "Entertainment" out of it and therefore they deserve to be paid.  If you read the return policy for a place like best buy it's easy to see that Entertainment items like CD's, DVD's, games, etc. have easily the most restrictive return policy of everything they sell.  I can buy a $2000 refrigerator and return it easier than a $15 CD.

You can get a refund very easily, 30 day cut off with digital sales.

They will never let you access the account again after that though.

I hope they check the time played before refunding. Refunding a guy who already got 100 hours out of their game would be silly. I think I'm going to start asking for refunds for all my half drunk beer cans, after all, why not?

A pathetic example of our spoiled consumer society. People don't want to take responsibility for their actions anymore. The delay for refunds on video games is just way too high. Look at the guy in the guru thread...

Refund on digital products should be limited to one week after purchase once the download is finished and the product activated. And I'm generous. Right now, you can just buy any game digitally, play 29 days, and ask for refund... lame.

At least in the USA. Try that in Europe, and you will be laughted at. Europe has refund laws, but also take consumer responsibility into account.

Yeah, you played countless hours during 3 weeks, got a character to max level, did dungeons, played the game a lot, and then you ask for a refund. And there's nothing wrong with that in your mind.

It probably should be based on hours logged in rather than calendar days, perhaps 10 hours or less. That would be plenty of time to try it out without abusing the system.

Make it even 24 hours (logged in), yes, something like that. But someone who played 100+ hours, got a 80, etc... should not ever get a refund.

I received a full refund, due to compatability issues with my 660ti. I thought they were extremely generous in doing so, and  I hardly expected it.

Funnily enough, they still haven't got around to closing my account, some 6 days later. I'll feel bad if I don't update them on the situation.

Fair enough in this case, even though it's sad you pass on such a great game when your problem was most likely just a driver problem...

The easiest way to get a refund (I'm on my 2nd copy of GW2) is say that your system can't run it. Amazon took my copy back and refunded my cash.
