1.2 - actually awesome now after hotfixes!

The hotfixes fixed all the big errors, and the game with 1.2 appears very good!

 

Cant wait to see what 1.3 will bring into the game now! 

In my opinion Funcom has turned the ship around, and is making really good progress.

Personally I think the game has always been good, no matter what they change or add in patch notes wont change the fact that it still only appeals to a certain crowd (which seemes to be everyones issue of those who doesnt play it).

Is it possible to play TSW now with a 32 bit operating system? It was almost unplayable for me on launch. I realise they recommend a 64 bit OS or face massive memory leakage. I was always surprised it needed a 64 bit OS for what it was compared to other mmos.

 

Anyone playing without problems on a 32 bit OS?

yes I playing on 32bit OS,my pc is out date too,but working fine

 

You need tweak your RAM,if use WIN7,must to have 4GB ram;

If make changes ,possible are some sides effect,for me all working fine,but who know?

After changes I am never again get memory lack crash!

 

If you want to make accessible 3GB RAM for your  applications in Vista/Win7, use the BCDedit.exe tool (Boot Configuration Data Editor). The 3GB memory mode can be enabled with the command:

bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072

and disabled by the command:

bcdedit /deletevalue IncreaseUserVa

Run this command from a command window with Administrator priviledge - i.e. (in the Start menu) type CMD and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter, or select "Command Prompt" (Accessories), right-click on it and choose "Run as Administrator".

Restart your PC after this change.

Since 1.2 the game is not really enjoyable for me.

Latency is a very big issue here, and the amount of lag and DCs is staggering. Pre-1.2 I dind't have had a single DC and only very little issues with lag, but now I'm constantly rubberbanding in dungeons and the best latency I can get is somewhere around 150ms, whereas it was only some 100ms before 1.2.

Also, the fixing of exploits was really needed, but they changed boss-mechanics with 1.2 aswell which makes it even harder for PUGs with low gear to beat. Ur-Draug now hits harder, Machine Tyrant now casts his DoTs twice as often and hit rating is totally bugged now.

So no, 1.2 made it actually far worse as I see it, especially for those players not running around in full 10.4 allready.

true, they sorted out the troubles pretty quick. Didn't find any of the reported issues, since I did not install the broken nvidia drivers

Yeah,.I've seen driver problems in most MMO's I've played. Lotro more recently,..I never upDate them when they ask,..partly out of laziness.,.ok,.mostly,..

Turns out t's a good thing most of the time.

As far as I know yes,..A NY raid as well as whole new Zones by way of Tokyo.

And im pretty sure the raid will be next issue after this again, issue 4 if its ready then....

 

As for what Issue 3 contains.. I dont know
