Level 86+ Monks, Blizz Allows RAF level grants. 9/25/2012

Just thought i would let the rest of the mmo goers know whats going on inside MoP atm. there are currently level 86+ Monks in wow, right now.

im no where near crying about this, i could actually care less. but i care enough to make a post here and voice my opinion on the matter. I think that blizz allowing this is just plain cheap.

they allowed a double RAF level grant, of 40 levels x 2 for monks. full details are in this post on the monk fourms: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/6712711674

Color my "out of the loop", becasue I have no idea what the heck you are talking about.  What is RAF?  I havent played WoW in a bit.

I think it's only a matter of time until blizzard will alow the creation of lvl 80 toons, but I care less TBH.

While it does diminish the race to world first 90 monk, it is the only way for top guilds to even have a monk ready for raiding as soon as the raids hit. To be honest, this has been do e before and I don't see your gripe about it.

The only way I would consider playing this expansion is if I could get my characters to skip the level 80 to 85 content. So I would say, yes, they should allow this if they want more people to play.

i share similar feelings

 

for WOW LK i had 80s of every class

for WOW Cata - i was able to stomache one 85 and zero interest in going thru Cata again

for WOW Cata - i was able to stomache one 85 and zero interest in going thru Cata again

Meh the mileage may vary. I liked most of the cata quest compared to LK. I liked howlin Fjord and dragonblight and maybe twin peaks but beside that it was meh. Now a days I don't even finish Bornean tundra, I just dungeon my way to 80 with heirlooms. Mind you I was able to lvl 8 chars to 85 but only 2 to 80 in WotLK

Cata was the worst for replayability of any expansion until they lowered the xp requirements to ding considerably IMO.  The others were pretty good. i still haven't leveled through the new 1-60 stuff because I don't have a class left. I think Monk may be it.

If someone wants to RAF a monk so be it, they won't know their class like they should and I can pwn them in BG's

Recruit A Friend system. Essentially a way to "buy" level 80 like these people did witht heir Monks. Get a friend to buy the game & play, or buy yourself an alt account and you just bought yourself 40 levels. Do both, or 1 of them twice - instant 80.
