Requested a Full Refund - Already back to WoW

I requested a full refund yesterday (and already got it) thanks to Anet's great customer service. I didn't even have to provide my reason, but got it anyway.

I was disappointed with the game, due to balance issues in PvP. I read a thread earlier about the fact GW2 is very unfriendly towards small groups, and I have to agree. That is as well a reason I got a full refund. I was unable to play with my friends due to an inability to group queue in sPvP and the impossibility of winning tPvP with only 2-3 players. This is unfortunate, as I enjoyed GW2's combat and classes. I thought they did great.

Now I'm back to playing WoW, as the PvP is extremely well balanced compared to GW2, far more casual friendly, group friendly, arenas for small groups as well as full groups, but most of all it's just plain better made and more polished. (Obviously, as GW2 doesn't have 10 million subscribers, lol).

You said it yourself. WoW is years old, thus it had many years to get all it's classes balanced from many years of experiences, specs, strategies, and exploits.

 

GW2 is going to be two months old at the end of this month. I do believe they shouldve had community issues sorted out by the end otf this month (Let friends queue together.) But you can't expect them to balance all classes just yet until they see what ticks together. We will all say it though, Quickness is problematic.

from now on ill buy retail box on every upcoming mmo.... get to max level then ask for a refund. It seems the refund trend is here to stay

So you quit a game cause of pvp and go back to wow?? [mod edit] . Not saying guild wars or any other themeparks idea of pvp is worthly of the term. PvP should have some meaning, some purpose. Those games just have it as a meh mini game with no real point to it.

You know what, I got 100 free Gold because I was having issues navegating in the Black Citadel, apparently the city is way too complicated for me and I can get compensated if I complain a little...

You do realize that becuase you got the refund.. your account will be erased ... and if you decide to come back, you'll have to start from scratch?

 

PS - Stopped playing wow 3 years ago.... that ship has sailed....

Why do people feel the need to report what game they're playing? Surely you have some friends somewhere who might care....

Granted I tried the game when it first launched so the customer service was busy, but they wouldn't respond to me on a major issue for a week...I charged back both copies...then like 4 days after that they responded to my initial needs...hell with that...

Have fun playing with bots in battlegrounds, heared its doubled since MoP.
Make sure to roll the next fotm also.

Not saying GW2 pvp is perfect, but name me 1 mmo with many classes with WvW that have perfect balance.

Some classes are good versus others and some classes have wicked skills and tricks but lower damage.

Hope you can enjoy WoW m8, but what my former guildies are saying they allready puke out the daily grinds with quests and are fed up with all the bots.

GW2 has no ground accusing other mmorpgs of having bots in its current state. Seriously. When they fix the issues with people teleporting around, flying or running underground with the orb, then maybe GW2 may point out faults in the exploitable state of other mmorpgs, not before.

You heard wrong. Thats all that I need to say regarding bots. As if GW2 anyone that plays GW2 has any room to say another game has a worse botting problem. Best look in your own front yard first there bud.

Getting a refund because youre terrible at PvP and incapable of doing things for yourself without relying on a large force to escort you everywhere. Cant say Im surprised WoW is your game of choice.

you left GW2 because it wasn't stable enough so you go to a game who's servers where entirely hacked and everyone killed

you went to WoW for stable pvp a game whos devs have had 7 yrs to get the talent trees right and still failed

and you think WoW has ten mil subs and have been dooped into paying the execs again because we all know sub money goes to nothing but execs pockets.

Wait, what WoW are you playing? Am I so far behind the loop that classes are balanced, cause WoW was terrible in this regard. Not to mention I love that extra part at the end. While I don't think GW2 is that amazing of a game, really, WoW? Your holding that old game thats only so popular do to nostoligia and having an established base with it and the 'everyone is playing it, I should too' players? Really? *facepalm* If you think numbers = better, then you really are quite dillusional, particularly if you think new games should outpolish established games that have had plenty of time to do so.

I dont see any bots in Structured pvp try again.
I dont see bots in WvW, not on the level WoW does inside their Battlegrounds.

Cheating with orbs, i give you that, but that banhammer is comming and fixes are on the way.

Now try to pvp in WoW on offpeak hours and try to count the bots doing pvp, log in to GW2 and join Spvp and try again.

Bots are in any mmo, no mmo is not invested with bots.
But where the bots are is amking a major impact, and in WoW with their budget and their lack of banning those hundred of thousands of bots inside PvP is a total joke.

When i still played WoW i have counted 12 bots in a 15v15 Eye of the Storm....
3 real players in a team of 15.
Now thats not always the case, but if you see that same bot 3 weeks later you cant think Blizzard takes this seriously.

To each his own style of play, but i just chuckle hard when people compare GW2 to WoW and still call WoW a better game
But thats just my personal vieuw tough, some people say Minecraft is the best game ever made with 100 million active accounts.

And when we are talking about balanced pvp, hope you have fun with stun stun stun wootaaaa woottaaaaa whaaa haaa whaa haaa stun stun.
Yes that trinket on a 2 min cooldown aint goin to safe you from the 400 stuns fears roots sheeps frost nova's.

I would read up on MoP pvp before even reconsidering a resub, but thats just me tough and it seems you made up your mind already
