Was a Charles Darwin quote necessary on WarZ home page?

Look at the upper right hand corner of this webpage. 

WarZ website quotes Charles Darwin (Karl Marx's buddy) to the max. 

"In the struggle for survival, the fittest win out at the expense of their rivals because they succeed in adapting themselves best to their environment."

Sure it's catchy but is there more than meets the eye? How did the web designer discover this comment? Well, he read the book. Despite him promoting this game, what's to stop him from promotinig socialist propaganda? Oh wait, it's just a game right? We are all puppets stuck on stupid. 

I know i'm going to get flamed by the ill informed but i'm calling it as i see it. With the elections just around the corner, what better way to push such comments. I know i'll get flamed but there will be a number of peeps that will understand where i'm coming from and i'm not counting by way of replies.

    I think natural selection and socialism are opposites. Not sure where the comparison is there? Socialism is protection of the weakest (Or a level playing field), natural selection sees the weak wiped out.

    When associating Darwin's comments about theory of evolution with socialistic political agenda you have to go to so far-fetched theories that you could as well associate anything said by anyone with any political agenda.

    It is one of the most scientifically important work of all times and everyone should read it.If you had you would have known how ignorant your post is.

    I do not mean to personally insult you or anything, but read the book. And the quothe is true anyways, this is like opposing Newtons theory of gravity because he also experiemented with alchemy.

    Seriously. Not only is political babbling against the rules here but the OP really is damn far off making any sense. I really had to read that several times trying to make anything out of it that makes actual sense but by now I've come to the conclusion that there simply is none!

    Just because Marx used Darwin to make claims about communism being superior to capitalism it doesn't make Darwin a communist or someone that may not be quoted.

    Some people will try to twist anything possible into some sort of political agenda.

    Just look at the idiots in Maine with the whole mud slinging campaign because one of the candidates plays video games, which 2/3 of our freaking population also does.

    Socialism is obviously a survivor. You might want to rethink your application of Darwinism to social structures. The weak can make strong babies, weak animals cooperating can defeat strong enemies, beliefs that protect the weak can be strong in indoctrination and assertive in their perpetuation. Weak people could be in a stronger position to enforce their laws (eg strong people are off dying in wars), weakness of socialists implies protection of the poor which doesnt really mean much in biological terms anyhow. You get the picture.

    While I dont think it is Socialist propaganda it is far from being a scientific fact. There are other theories that explain it better but I wont go into them here as its not the place.  Suffice it to say not everyone believes in evolution and any dismissal of anothers beliefs is either blindness or outright bigotry.
