There are so many to choose from it's hard to pick just one... I would have to say that I would have to play Deadpool or a Deadpoolesque character... Deadpool has one of the most interesting back-stories and he is a believable character.. HIs powers mixed with the effect they have had on him both physically and mentally make him almost a villianous hero, and would be a lot of fun to play. Though I would also have to look at characters such as Psylocke and possibly even some villian characters, because of their powers. Harpoon, Vertigo and a few others come to mind from the Maurauders. There are more, but I'm posting from work, and don't have a lot of time.
It's not the original (which is a shame, because Richard Rider is what made the Nova Corp awesome), but even so it's a cosmic-level hero! How cool is that!? Space cop, straight up!
Deadpool. That part of the answer was simple. The why you ask? That's where it gets complicated. Here's a short, long list on why I should get one of those keys:
1. Chimichangas.
2. He, Mr. Wilson (as well as Mr. Wilson from Castaway, but that's a different story entirely), and I both share an interesting quality: We're awesome and speak in yellow speech bubbles. Mine are just one liners on yellow post its, but hey it works.
3. There's going to be about 1,000,000 Wolverines in Marvel Heroes out and aboooot, there's gotta be at least one other annoying Canadian character running around making sure they're not the only one's having fun with maple syrup and hockey sticks.
4. Chimichangas. They're that good.

Gambit! First time I saw him was in the X-men animated series. He was hitting on the girl in the card shop, totally oblivious to the rampaging Sentinel in the mall.
He is a complete badass who isn't afraid to go up against superpowered heroes (or villains). His outlook on life and his way of taking care of crime is a complete contrast to most characters in the Marvel Universe which makes for interesting interactions and intense scenes. I beleive his potential is vastly underestimated by Marvel fans, and i can't wait (for people who dont read his comics) to see what he is made of. He doesn't usually get a spot in Marvel games and it is very exciting to see him be a character in something that looks to be a very good game (i'd love to try it for myself =p).
lol im pretty sure im the only person who said daredevil....did ben affleck really ruin him for everyone? not me though lol...daredevil has been my favorite since i was a kid. i love his story and all the struggles he has to go through...more than any super hero.
Johnny Storm a.k.a. The Human Torch, my favourite char in M.U.A and F.F. because i like fire and he's so dominating. ("What's the matter, can't stand the heat ?")
