Anybody playing the beta around these forums with an idea about when this game is coming out? Been looking at some videos and information concerning the game and I think it might be just what I'm looking for right now!

    The publisher says Q4 2012 here: http://www.paradoxplaza.com/games/salem

    According to the game's official website it's life now: http://www.salemthegame.com/. Play for free now! :)

    In the forums the game's current status is called "commercial beta", looks like no wipe is planned before "release", whatever that means for Salem. Here's the forum: http://forum.salemgame.com/

    My personal opinion: it's very, very rough and misses a lot (A LOT!) of content and balance. Whether that changes before release I don't know, but I wouldn't count on it.

    I had noticed its advertised as free but it also says I need a beta key to play, do you know how i'd go about getting one?

    Sorry no, according to the official website no new beta keys are given out currently.
