My friend and I are pretty new to GW2. We had noticed that in particular the "Cutpurse" mob has a "steal" ability. What exactly does this mean, because he's insisting on keeping all his money in the bank because of it, and I'm thinking that's somehow unecessary.
If these mobs can steal, what exactly are they stealing? Are items stolen out of your inventory? Money instead? If so does killing one earn back what they've stolen? How exactly does this work?

When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
That´s not true. o.O
It´s a "thief" skill that allows the mob to use your weapon against you like they have said in the posts above.
i thought i was pretty obviously being sarcastic. guess not.

If it helps you, I got the joke and it made me lol.
On a sidenote... *resists the urge to complain about anet taking weeks, before they ban reported bot groups*
I do however miss the standard steal ability or even the ability to gain extra little baggies with goodies in them from the humanoid mobs. That would have been a nice touch for the thief class.
