Hey everyone, I'm looking for a new MMORPG. I've played countless over the years from the Pay to Win F2P games, to the themeparks and more. I first started playing Asheron's Call back in the late 90s when the game first came out, I was hooked on how the world was a giant adventure. When WoW came out, I got that same feeling, that new awe inspiring feeling of being immersed in a "living breathing world". But ever since those two games, nothing has really compared. I quit WoW before the first expansion, came back after Burning Crusade and quit again. I've tried AION, Lineage 2, SWTOR, GW2, Diablo 3, and what feels like hundreds of other games. Basically, I'm lost when it comes to looking for a new immersive game that I can feel awed by. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also, I've played UO, EQ, EQ2, Vanguard, and pretty much everything that's not brand spanking new. I have not played Rift, TERA, or anything else "newer".
Thank you in advance.

I'm testing Age Of Wushu at the moment and i can't seem to put the game down. The game is hard to grasp and because it's still in beta and is based on Chinese folklore some might be put off.
The world is big and alive, it still needs some tweaking with a nice dynamic weather system though. It has some very nice features like farming and everything is player made plus it's a sandbox PvP game.

Maybe its not the best in the universe but its one of the bests out there.
My biggest problem with it is that i really dont want to live in the world which is so badly destroyed, but it tells something of Fallen Earths immersion,it delivers.
Let's internet
The Secret World has a different feel from the norm, though it's not a complete departure. The skill wheel is deeper than it looks, the content can be actually challenging, and they've really captured the mood of the genre. Very good game.
I would also second a look at Age of Wushu. It's stil in closed beta, and needs more work on localization, but so far it has a very different feel, and more depth than most of the standard games out there. It's actually pretty impressive.
Other than that, perhaps look at games like EvE, Mortal Online, Perpetuum, etc.
Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.
