need help on installing

in Darkfall: Unholy Wars
i'm getting    "DFUWLobby.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience." everytime i try to launch the game , does someone have a fix for this

    right click icon on desktop

    -> properties -> execute minimized instead of window mode.
    -> start doubleclick the icon
    -> click on your launcher icon on the windows bar and see the launcher

    This will probably work as well if your lobby/patcher is crashing instantly in other OSes.
