Is this game is full of broken quests!

After having to abandon 1 quest because I was not fast enough to do what was required, I find it is now impossible to do the very next quest, all I get is a message that I can only do it once per day, which would indicate that I have done it, but it is not registered as being done on the quest list! No idea why it is not working and it's not possible to abandon this quest, also have no intention of coming back tomorrow because the quest after this one is more than likely broken as well!
