FFXI with Xfire...

in Final Fantasy XI

The first time I turned on Xfire before I logged into FFXI, I crashed after a few minutes (no error, everything just disappeared, didn't bring my back to playonline). Anyone know why, or any possible solutions?

    Maybe it's your computer that is too old or something. Did u try to restart ur computer then run Xfire again?::::28::

    Maybe I'll try just that. Lol.

    And no, my computer is not too old, at least it can run FFXI at 1024 x 768 resolution with most settings maxed with no bump mapping ::::28::

    Well, I think there's some kind of a conflict between the game and Xfire (but there shouldn't be...)
    Try installing Xfire again, and then just minimize it when you open FFXI.

    One more thing; this is pretty old, but am I late, or do you still have problems with the game?

    Still happens, crashes after like 30 minutes of playing.

    If there's no solution to it then I guess it won't kill to play FFXI without XFire ::::39::
